C. TERESA GARRETT

Teresa graduated from Stetson Law School, St. Petersburg, FL in 1992 and is a 1982 graduate of the University of Florida. Before entering law, Teresa was in banking both in Atlanta, GA and in Orlando, FL. In addition to working in several commercial law firms she also worked for Chicago Title Insurance Company in Orlando. Teresa is deeply involved in the Orlando community, having served as President of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and on several other community boards.

MARK W. GARRETT (Retired)

Mark has retired as a practicing lawyer but still works with Teresa for consultation and to pitch in as needed.

Mark is a 1978 graduate of Stanford Law School, Palo Alto, CA where he was a member of the Stanford Law Review. Mark’s undergraduate degree is from Vanderbilt University and he also holds a Master’s of Science degree in Geology from Vanderbilt. He was a partner in the Orlando office of a national law firm before going out on his own.

Mark has also been prominent in many community organizations. He served multiple terms as President of the Orlando-UCF Shakespeare Festival and the Maitland Art Center, and was President of the City of Orlando Public Art Board. He has also served on such diverse community boards as: Harry P. Leu Botanical Gardens Board of Trustees, Winter Park Utilities Commission, Winter Park Chamber of Commerce, Guardian Care Nursing Home, and has acted as a Guardian ad Litem through the Orange County Bar Association.
